Microchat. The doctor's decision to prescribe a treatment is not purely subjective, but is in most cases based on scientific evidence. Science, as a generator of new knowledge, nourishes biomedicine with knowledge aimed mainly at improving the health of citizens and, therefore, their quality of life through better clinical care. In this dramatised micro-talk, the levels of scientific evidence will be presented in a simple way for the general public. The participating researchers are Laura del Campo Albendea and Miriam Mateos Haro, from the Ramón y Cajal Institute for Health Research (IRYCIS).
