Prof. Dr. Ana Belen Munoz is Professor of Employment Law at Carlos III University. · Member of the scientific committee of the XVI European Regional Congress,
Ghent (Belgium), 2023, organised by the international Society for Labour and Social Security Law (ISLSSL). As a member of the group of experts, she was commissioned to create a series of labour-related documents to advise the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social
Economy for the Spanish presidency of the EU in 2023. Her research focuses particularly on the impact of emerging technology in companies (artificial intelligence, algorithms, etc.) and challenges of Collective Agreements after the labour law reforms in Spain. Her research has been widely recognised, being appointed member of the Study Commission on Labour Repercussions of Algorithms of the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Economy since June of 2021 to develop the employer’s duty of algorithmic transparency. She has been a visiting fellow at Harvard Law School, Oxford University and LSE. She has given several lectures in prestigious European Universities (Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Netherlands, Sweden and UK).
