About me

I am a predoctoral researcher at the Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid - CSIC where I am doing my doctoral thesis. This is included in the "The Odd-Man-Out" project that studies the low biodiversity of plant species in Continental Tropical Africa compared to other similar regions of the planet. My research is focused on the large groups of the Euphorbiaceae family (such as the 'Euphorbia', 'Croton' and 'Macaranga' genera), whose diversity, taxonomy and evolutionary history I study using from molecular to bioinformatic techniques. In my free time what I like the most is mountaineering and traveling. My main hobbies are reading and, in general, any activity or creative project that comes my way.
