About me

Javier Crespo Miguel is a Mechanical Engineer and Masters in Industrial Mechanics by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Currently is a PhD student at the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Theory of Structures of the UC3M, under a FPI fellow which is focused on the multifunctional characterization of conductive polymers. He has worked as a researcher and teacher at the UC3M since 2019, with experience in the complex modelling of polymers using the finite element method, in the multiphysical modelling of electroactive polymers using optimization algorithms and in the experimental characterization of conductive polymers. He is a great music enthusiast, playing guitar during his free time. He also enjoys cooking, sports and traveling.
