My name is Laura Rodríguez Sáez. I work at Institute IMDEA Water, in the Membrane Technology group. I studied Environmental Sciences at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I have spent most of my career in membranes and bacteria. Currently, my work focuses on the use of membranes for wastewater treatment using different systems such as membrane bioreactors to remove different pollutants, such as micronanoplastics. I am passionate about travelling and do so whenever circumstances allow. I also love live music and have a knack for getting hooked on a good series.
