I'm from Madrid, but I did my PhD in Mallorca. My research focuses on the international relations across the Mediterranean basin during the Roman period. I love ice-cream, rain and the countryside. My parents were doctors, but they never disagreed with my choice to study Humanities. I have never ever shared the separation between 'Science' and 'Arts'. I have always been interested in diplomacy and International Relations. I still remember that the first news that shocked me and made me aware of the world was the 9/11 attacks and everything that followed. When I go to a museum, the people with me get desperate because I move very slowly (it doesn't matter which museum it is because I like them all). The world is crazy (like the Romans in Asterix and Obelix!), but I try to do my bit so that we can all understand it better.
