Rocío Bartolomé Rodríguez

About me

Hi everyone!!! My name is Rocío Bartolomé Rodríguez and I am a Spanish language teacher at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Here I teach Spanish Language, Spanish for foreigners and many other subjects related to our language. I also love English, and for many years I taught and learned Shakespeare's language, which made me work at James Madison University (USA) or do a research stay at Queen Mary University of London.
Since I did my doctoral thesis, I became very interested in the brain and how it works, but especially in the brain of the learner. This led me to take a Master's Degree in Mind, Brain and Education at the University of Barcelona and now, part of my research is oriented towards this area. I also research on innovative teaching methodologies such as COIL and service-learning, among others.
