About me

I’m a Ramón y Cajal researcher in the Department of Biology, where I explore how microbiology can help us protect the environment from human impact. I was born in the Canary Islands, but I’ve been a proud adopted Madrileño for years, enjoying everything the big city has to offer. Outside the lab, I love cooking (and eating well), taking leisurely walks, traveling to discover new places and cultures, and getting lost in a good book or film. I’m always eager to learn, share, and live new experiences with others.
