Hi! My name is Diego, and I’m an Honorary Fellow at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), where I completed a Bachelor's degree in History, a Master's in Ancient History, and a PhD in Ancient World Studies. Along the way, I’ve lived and worked in cities like Mérida, Rome, and Edinburgh.
My curiosity about how other people live has taken me around the world with a backpack full of books. That same curiosity is what led me to study how the Romans interacted with the different peoples they encountered as they expanded across the Mediterranean.
