I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology (Animal Physiology) at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I am passionate about physiology, and my research has focused on investigating the mechanisms of immunosenescence and “oxi-inflamm-aging,” as well as identifying oxidative-inflammatory stress parameters as biomarkers of aging and longevity. Beyond the laboratory, I enjoy learning and practicing mindfulness, yoga, and tai chi, always seeking to embody the principle of "mens sana in corpore sano".
