Ricardo Pichel is an assistant professor in the Department of Spanish Literature and Literary Theory at UNED and holds a PhD in Galician Philology from the University of Santiago de Compostela. His research focuses on, among other things, the digital editing of medieval Castilian and Galician-Portuguese texts, corpus linguistics, and the study of some Iberian literary traditions in the Middle Ages, such as historiography and hagiography, legal prose, and the Troy cycle.
