María Sánchez, who holds a degree in Geological Sciences (UCM), began her career in the field of Geotechnics, participating in various national and international projects. In 2020, she joined the TOP HERITAGE-CM project as a Reserarch Assistant affiliated with the Materials Acoustics Group at the School of Architecture (UPM). Since 2021, she became part of the Petrology Applied to Heritage Conservation group at the Geosciences Institute IGEO (UCM-CSIC) through contracts linked to the TOP HERITAGE-CM project and the European E-RIHS project. Currently, her research work remains connected to the PAP group at IGEO, under a Technical Support Staff contract.
