Álvaro Fernández Cardero is a predoctoral researcher in the Pharmacy Doctoral Program at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), working at the Institute of Food Science, Technology and Nutrition (ICTAN-CSIC) under a 2023 FPU (University Teaching Training) fellowship. He holds a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition and Dietetics and a bachelor’s degree in physical Activity and Sports Sciences. He has participated in five research projects and has authored three publications in Q1 journals. He has presented 23 scientific communications and earned the second place in the XIII Scientific Outreach Competition organized by UCM-FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology). He is actively involved in science communication and educational innovation initiatives.
