About me

I have been a Ph.D. student in the RobeSafe group at the University of Alcalá (UAH) since 2023, funded by ELLIS Madrid. My research focuses on the field of artificial intelligence, specializing in the development of efficient Vision Transformer models.

The main goal of my work is to adapt these architectures to operate in low-computation environments. I explore their application in areas such as driver distraction detection, to improve road safety, and everyday activity monitoring. I am drawn to the challenge of optimizing complex algorithms to make technology more accessible and feasible for real-world implementation.
