Cristina de la Fuente is a specialist in Radiation Oncology at the Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital, where she has practiced clinical practice since 2009, with a special focus on the treatment of breast cancer and hematological diseases. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Throughout her professional career, she has actively participated in various research studies and in teaching.
She currently coordinates the Spanish Group of Hemato-Oncological Diseases and Radiotherapy (GEHOR), where she promotes collaborative research and the continuous improvement of clinical practice.
Her main areas of interest include the impact of physical exercise as a therapeutic tool in oncology. Her clinical and research work focuses on improving patients' quality of life and integrating a more humane and personalized approach to oncological treatment.
