Research in the Amphiphilic Molecules and Supramolecular Polymers group at the UCM focuses on the synthesis of new self-assembling molecules and the study of their self-assembly both in solution and on surfaces. Dr. Luis Sánchez's research group is particularly interested in the investigation of chirality transfer and amplification phenomena produced in supramolecular polymers and also in the functioning of the complexity of kinetically controlled supramolecular polymerisations and pathways.
