- Do you want to be a controller or railway controller and schedule the circulation of trains? - Do you know how STEM studies can be developed when building trains? The Spanish Railways Foundation and ALSTOM, with the help of their researchers, will show schoolchildren how train circulations can be programmed through INTELINO. It is designed to offer interactive games and STEM learning. Intelino, Smart train. A train equipped with advanced robotic technology, in a ludic way we will understand the digital railway mobility through the coding. The robot is intuitive and incorporates innovative features that make learning easy as well as fun. It can be programmed either by color codes, inserted in the track itself that activates the color sensor and executes the orders, or progress towards block programming, even in Scratch, using tablets connected via Bluetooth to the smart train. This activity belongs to the line of work of the Spanish Railways Foundation - Energy and Emissions Research Group and the dissemination activities of the Spanish Railway Technology Platform (PTFE).
