We will start by telling what antimicrobial resistance is, the importance it has and how it affects us in daily life, and then move on to the example of tuberculosis, which is a special case. We will explain the socioeconomic problems, the global impact on the planet. We will end by describing what the ERA4TB project is and will present the technologies that we are developing that will help us combat this plague. This activity of the UC3M is part of a scientific dissemination action “Researchers at schools” of MADRIDNIGHT, a project coordinated by the madri+d Foundation and financed by the European Union within the Horizon Europe Program for research and innovation, under the grant agreement number 101,061,343.
