The activity will begin with an explanatory talk about the different cell types and components of the immune system involved in fighting cancer. Next, samples of human blood, thymus, lymph node, and spleen will be observed under optical microscopes in the laboratories of the Department of Cell Biology at the Faculty of Medicine of UCM. Participants will be able to create cards with drawings of the cells observed microscopically.
