I am an Associate Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, within the Department of Cell Biology and Histology, where I teach in several Degrees (Medicine, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Nutrition and Dentistry) and in the Master of Research in Translational Medicine, as well as participating in Summer Courses at the Complutense. In addition, I have also worked outside the university, being the head of a stem cell storage laboratory for clinical use.
My research career has always been linked to tissue remodelling and repair, both in normal health conditions and in pathological situations, where tissues are damaged or destroyed, losing their function and requiring replacement or repair.
