Sara Delbuono is a highly skilled and dedicated Dietitian-Nutritionist currently working as a Research Assistant in the NUCONEP group at IMDEA Nutrition Institute. Her work focuses on precision nutrition strategies aimed at combating obesity and metabolic diseases. Sara is completing her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health through the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), further enhancing her expertise in the field.
With extensive clinical consultation experience, Sara excels in handling and processing biological samples, conducting nutritional evaluations, and supporting personalized dietary interventions. Her proficiency in advanced metabolic assessments, including DXA, bioimpedance analysis, indirect calorimetry, and FibroScan, allows her to gain a deeper understanding of individual metabolic phenotypes and their epigenetic influences.
