In this interactive module, visitors can embark on a fascinating journey that spans from writing materials to their monumental application in religious architecture. The activity begins with a short video showcasing the diversity of writing in different languages. At a table simulating a medieval writing desk, participants can discover the various materials involved in the writing process, such as papyrus, parchment, quills, inks, and their manufacturing processes, understanding the importance of materiality in the act of writing.

Next, the tour moves to a section furnished with bookshelves, images of manuscripts, and facsimiles of codices from diverse traditions, illustrating the diversity of codices and highlighting the richness of their composition. The guided experience culminates with the conceptual leap from writing in codices to its monumental manifestation in architectural inscriptions. Several workshops related to writing will be available for participants to choose from, delving into practical and creative aspects of the art of writing.
