Sobre mí
Julien Simonin, graduated in Life and Environmental Sciences from the University of Franche-Comté and holds a master’s degree in biology and Agrosciences, specialising in Plant and Microbial Sciences, from the University of Montpellier. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), within the Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP).
His research focuses on the ecology of mycoviruses, viruses that infect fungi, and their potential to control plant diseases in a more sustainable way. His work particularly explores the interactions between mycoviruses and the plant pathogen Botrytis cinerea, with the aim of understanding how these viruses could contribute to biological control strategies.
