The European Researchers' Night in Madrid (NIGHTMADRID) is a project to support the careers of researchers with the aim of raising awareness of the role of researchers and the importance of their work for the well-being of society. In Madrid it is coordinated by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and funded by the European Union within Horizon Europe, the EU's Research and Innovation Programme, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions with grant agreement number 101.162.110.

When and where?

The European Researchers’ Night in Madrid 2025 will take place the 26th and 27th of September in different cities of the Region of Madrid and in Argentina, Ecuador and Uruguay. Its main objective is to bring the researchers closer to the general public in order to create an understanding of the impact of researchers’ work on daily life. Free and playful activities will be performed from 9:00 to 24:00 h.
