About me

Juan F. Cerdá teaches English literature at the University of Murcia and has published articles in different Shakespeare journals, such as Shakespeare, Cahiers Élisabéthains, Borrowers and Lenders. He has also contributed to different books, like Shakespeare and Conflict: A European Perspective (Palgrave, 2013), Shakespeare Beyond English: A Global Experiment (Cambridge University Press, 2013), The Taming of the Shrew: The State of Play (Arden Bloomsbury, 2021) and has co-edited Shakespeare in Spain. An Annotated Bilingual Bibliography (edit.um/Universidad de Granada, 2015) and Romeo and Juliet in European Cultures (John Benjamins, 2017). He has been Secretary of the European Shakespeare Research Association and Communications Officer of the Spanish and Portuguese Society for English Renaissance Studies.
