Esther Gil holds a Bachelor's and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is a professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at UNED, where she has taught courses at various undergraduate and master's levels, as well as MOOCs and continuing education programs. She is the author of several educational books. Since 2012, she has organized and participated in mathematics outreach workshops aimed at both students and teachers of different levels, in various institutions across Spain and Equatorial Guinea. In terms of research, she is the author of several articles published in national and international journals, with a special focus on Mathematics, Geodesy, and Educational Innovation.
