My name is Joaquín, and I studied Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. From the beginning, I was torn between choosing the “boots” or the “lab coat,” because I love both going out into the field and mountains as well as conducting research in the laboratory. In the end, I chose the “lab coat,” and I am currently pursuing my PhD here at the Autónoma. That said, my love for the outdoors remains as strong as ever!
