She holds a PhD in English Philology from UNED. She is a professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics in Science and Technology at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Her research focuses on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Open Education, and Methods for Educational Innovation.
