Patricia Sánchez-García
About me
My name is Patricia Sánchez, I have a PhD in Philosophy and Letters, and I graduated in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Why did I choose Arabic? Languages have always held a kind of magic for me, because they preserve and transport ideas across time and space. So I work translating messages from the past at the Institute of History (CSIC), specifically medieval accounts on statues, and organizing the key information into a database, since that is another language with a lot of potential: programming (Python).
In my free time, my hobbies range from reading, writing, and music to snorkeling, anime, and sweets.
