I hold a PhD in Telematics Engineering (UPC 2000). I am the director of the IMDEA Networks institute. My areas of research are communications networks, Internet technology, and mobile networks. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and hiking. I am passionate about the Sierra de Madrid mountain range.
