About me

Colombian scientist and science communicator. Materials Engineer with a Ph.D. in Engineering and over 13 years of experience in the development and application of advanced materials at the micro- and nanoscale. I am a committed and meticulous researcher, with strong organizational skills and a deep motivation to ensure the efficient transfer of products from the laboratory to production lines. Throughout my career, I have promoted process improvements and developed innovative materials for the semiconductor and energy industries in Latin America and Europe. I have experience leading multidisciplinary research projects, working closely with chemists, physicists, designers, and engineers from various fields. I am known for my leadership abilities, project management skills, and effective communication in highly demanding collaborative environments.

As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow, I am currently working on the development of a new generation of flexible solar devices for space applications. As an ambassador of the program, I am also dedicated to opening science to society, promoting inclusion, social innovation, and education on climate change and global challenges. I firmly believe in the power of science to transform realities and build a more sustainable, just, and informed future.
