Carlos Serrano Luengo
About me
PhD in Social Health and Physical Activity Research from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in 2021. Carlos has been a full-time lecturer at Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) since September 2021, where he currently teaches football and training planning within the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
His main research field is performance analysis in team sports through monitoring technologies. He has published several articles in high-impact scientific journals. He is a member of the DATAFOOT research group at Universidad Europea de Madrid and collaborates with the IGOID group at the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
Outside of academia, he also works as a performance analyst for Movistar Inter FS (Spanish First Division in Futsal) since 2019. He is passionate about sports in general, with particular interests in 10k races, half marathons, and trail running. Another hobby of his is dog training.
