Liceth Costa Redondo
About me
My name is Liceth Costa Redondo. I am an environmental engineer, I have a Master's degree in Engineering and I am a PhD student in Engineering at the Pontifical Bolivarian University, where I am researching the presence of macro- and microplastics in water, sediment and fish in coastal areas of La Guajira, Colombia. I am currently a lecturer at the University of La Guajira and I am also doing an international internship at IMDEA Water, within the Soil and Water Quality in the Environment (SWQ) research group, where I am learning about experiments to determine the mobility and effect of plastic additives in soil, conducting toxicity tests on plastic additives in plants, and learning about the methodology for identifying additives in environmental samples.
I am passionate about discovering new places and cultures.
