I am part of a research project focused on the psychobiological effects of loneliness and social isolation in aging, where we study their impact on cognitive, emotional, and physiological health, as well as the effects of psychosocial interventions to reduce them.
I work with neuropsychological, hormonal, and genetic measures, both in humans and animal models, exploring the mechanisms that link our social relationships with well-being and cognitive decline.
In addition to my research work, I actively participate in scientific outreach events and collaborate on educational projects, with the conviction that science should be shared, discussed, and put at the service of the community.
I am passionate about building knowledge from the human and collective perspective.
