About me
I am a teacher of Cell Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I have spent over 20 years dedicated to the study of meiosis, a fascinating biological process that enables the formation of gametes: eggs and sperm. This phenomenon, which is crucial for reproduction, remains an area of research with many unanswered questions. By understanding it more deeply, we aim to develop new solutions to fertility problems and improve our knowledge of how genetic diseases are passed on to future generations.
In addition to my passion for biology, I am a nature and animal lover. On a personal level, I am a mother of five and enjoy spending my free time doing ceramics, a hobby that allows me to explore my creativity.
