Alberto Pérez Rubio is a founding partner and editor of Desperta Ferro Ediciones. He holds degrees in History and Business Studies from the UAM, a Master's degree in Ancient History and Science from the UAM/UCM, and a PhD in Ancient History from the UAM, with the thesis "Coaliciones, diplomacia y conectividad en la Galia ca. 150-50 a.C. Una Segunda Edad de Hierro en red". His main area of interest is Antiquity in Europe and the Mediterranean, especially the interactions between different cultures, including of course warfare, on which he has published a number of articles. He is a member of the Occidens research group (www.occidens.es) and an honorary professor at the UAM.
