I am a lecturer in Ancient History at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I trained as a student, researcher and professor, although I have carried out research stays in several British and American universities. I am dedicated to the study of the ancient populations of the Iberian Peninsula and the Roman expansion in the Mediterranean between the 3rd and 1st centuries BC, with a special interest in diplomatic relations, conflicts and cultural interaction among societies of the past, which is essential to understand the present and face our future! But in addition to being a historian and archaeologist, as I have this dual training, I am passionate about nature, music and art. Hiking, reading, ornithology and tennis are some of my hobbies.
