About me

I am a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where I earned my PhD in Ancient History in 2015, after which I held a research position at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid for five years. My field of research focuses on ideological discourses among pre-Roman Iberian communities, which has led me to work at the intersection of Protohistory and Ancient History, as well as between literary and archaeological sources. I am currently co-directing, together with Eduardo Sánchez Moreno, a National Plan research project entitled “The Time of the Punic Wars and Their Narratives: Interaction, Hybridization, and Multipolarity in the Western Mediterranean”, and I also lead an archaeological project at the Iberian sanctuary of Alarcos (Ciudad Real).
