Associate Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Sports at the European University of Madrid.
Teacher-Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Sports at the European University of Madrid. PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the European University of Madrid (2020). Master's Degree in Physical Activity and Health (2016). I specialize in the use of physical exercise as a non-pharmacological tool for the treatment and prevention of chronic diseases.
I teach Physical Activity for Health, in person, part-time, and in the degree program in English. I also teach postgraduate courses in the Master's Degree in Sports Training and Nutrition.
I have developed my research career in two main areas: (i) the application of physical exercise as a supporting tool in various pathologies and (ii) the study of biomarkers applied to sports science. I am also a personal trainer for special populations. I have 11 scientific publications in high-impact journals in my area of knowledge, I have participated in more than 15 national and international conferences and more than 15 research projects, both privately and publicly funded, in addition to several editions of the Community of Madrid Science Week as a speaker, contributing to the transfer of knowledge and scientific dissemination.
I am a Dog-lover and outdoor freaky, my favorite thing to do outside of work is to get lost in the mountains with my dogs. I love racket sports, Volleyball and skiing.
