I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences. I work in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling, a field that uses computers and quantum mechanics-based programs to study how matter behaves at the microscopic level. Specifically, I analyse how and why chemical bonds form and break in solids and molecules. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and DIY projects.
