Dr. Eduardo Oliver is a biomedical researcher, a pharmacist by training, and a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Valencia. He is currently a Senior Scientist at the Margarita Salas Center for Biological Research of the CSIC, where he leads a research group focused on understanding the molecular basis of cardiovascular diseases and cardiopulmonary disorders in search of new targets and innovative therapeutic strategies. He has developed his research career at prestigious centers such as Imperial College London and the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) in Madrid thanks to their respective research excellence programs, and has received the European and Spanish Young Investigator in Pharmacology awards.
