This activity is for people from 6 years of age will have a brief introduction into the work done by the group and the importance of diagnosing and investigating CHD. After that we will prepare different areas where attendants will observe different stages of development of mice as model organisms, prepare histological stainings and observe stained sections of mutant mice to diagnose malformations of heart valves and chambers. This will provide participants with an overview of what we do in the lab and the relevance of basic and translational research in the context of cardiology.
