About me

Andrés López González is a dedicated and proactive Nutritionist-Dietitian specializing in Molecular Nutrition and Metabolism. Currently pursuing his PhD, Andrés focuses on the role of dietary polyamines, betaine, and choline in cellular epigenetics, particularly in relation to cardiometabolic health and aging. His research aims to uncover the intricate connections between diet and gene expression, contributing to advancements in precision nutrition.
Andrés brings a wealth of experience to his current role. He has previously worked as a Nutritional Advisor at Abbott Nutrition and Nutricia (Danone), where he played a key role in the scientific-medical strategy for product launches and provided critical support for medical nutrition brands. His expertise extends to clinical trials, where he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of nutritional studies.
With a Master's degree in Nutrition, Food, and Metabolism from the University of Navarra and a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Andrés has a strong academic foundation.
