Matteo Ripoli
About me
Matteo is a PhD researcher in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Space Propulsion and Plasma Physics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in the Equipo de Propulsión Espacial y Plasmas. He works in the framework of the ERC starting grant ZARATHUSTRA, focusing his research on waves in plasmas, and on the effects of turbulence in Electrodeless plasma Thrusters. Coming from the seaside city of Livorno, he has graduated from the University of Pisa and has collaborated with the italian space company SITAEL. He now finds himself stranded in the Spanish Meseta, cultivating his passion for plasma physics and
setting the building blocks for the new era of space propulsion.
He loves going to the sea, drawing, going to the sea, playing basketball, going to the sea, listening to music and applied mathematics. In his free time, he also enjoys going to the sea. If only it was possible here.
