About me

Guy Y. Cornejo Maceda is a postdoctoral fellow in the Aerospace Engineering research group at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He obtained a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from Paris-Saclay University in 2021. After that, he moved to Shenzhen to join the Harbin Institute of Technology, one of China’s top universities. His main goal is to develop greener and more efficient transportation systems by combining flow control, modeling, and artificial intelligence. He has contributed to the development of advanced optimization methods for fast learning of control laws in experimental settings. As part of the NEXTFLOW project, he develops modeling techniques for complex flows to support the physical interpretation of AI-generated solutions. In his free time, he enjoys learning languages, watching films, practicing calligraphy, and playing chess.
