Sacha Huot

About me

He completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics followed by a Master's degree in Applied Physics at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His academic focus has been directed toward the fields of plasma physics, fluid dynamics (particularly aerodynamics), and the study of material science / solid state physics. During his studies, he was involved in research with the Bio Plasma Group at the Swiss Plasma Center, where he contributed to a project aimed at optimizing dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma reactors used for the decontamination of biological liquids.
Currently, he is conducting his Master's thesis at the EP2 laboratory of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). His research involves the experimental analysis and detailed characterization of the plasma plume generated by an electron cyclotron resonance thruster (ECRT) operating with a magnetic arch configuration.
