About me

PhD in Pharmacy from San Pablo CEU University. She completed her doctoral thesis at the Margarita Salas Center for Biological Research (CIB-CSIC), focusing on the design, synthesis, and evaluation of new drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. She later carried out postdoctoral research at Frankfurt Goethe University, where she studied physiological alterations in mouse models of Parkinson’s disease. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences at UC3M and has recently been appointed the new director of the UC3M undergraduate program in Neuroscience—the first neuroscience degree in Spain, which is now entering its second academic year. Among her hobbies, she particularly enjoys playing golf.
