Magdalena is a lecturer and researcher in the field of plant biotechnology and apiculture. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences, specializing in plant physiology, abiotic stress, and bee health, with a particular interest in antimicrobial compounds such as chitosan and essential oils for use against bee pathogens.

She is also a writer, illustrator, yoga teacher, and science communicator, author of The Secret World of Bees and The Secret World of Seeds, both aimed at children.

Passionate about nature, art, and outdoor activities, she combines research, teaching, and science outreach in projects that connect science, art, and society, promoting a conscious, sustainable, and democratic approach to science.
