My name is Aida Díaz Mansilla, I am a Laboratory Technician and I am contracted associated with a project in the Department of Biodiversity and Conservation. My work focuses on the extraction, purification, and quantification of DNA from plant samples. In addition, I am responsible for the amplification of specific genomic regions using PCR, as well as the application of sequencing techniques such as Hyb-Seq. These procedures allow for the obtaining of fundamental molecular data for the development of phylogenetic trees and the advancement of evolutionary studies.
