A biologist and botanical illustrator, I work as a Conservation Technician at the MA Herbarium of the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid. I graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I trained as a scientist. Simultaneously, I worked as an illustrator in the botany department, where I still illustrate species new to science. Both fields of study allowed me to understand and appreciate the conservation work behind herbaria, which shaped my professional development and led me to explore the convergence of art and science.
